Why does dittolog have a battery? Simple really. Pilots love to turn the master switch to ‘off’ as soon as an aircraft rolls to a stop.
Dittolog needs to stay alive for a few minutes to upload the flight trace, and the battery keeps things ‘alive’ until this process is completed.
